It is God's comforting promise to you that all of your salvation is in God's hands. He planned your salvation and makes sure that you continue to hear His word which He used to seal His Holy Spirit in your heart. The Holy Spirit keeps you coming to the Word and trusting in the Word that God's Son took on human flesh and has saved you. Therefore, the new heavens and earth are yours.
